Happy Valentine's Day...

Happy Valentine's Day, everybody! It's not a very big holiday for me, but I know it is for some. I like valentines, and candy, and flowers, but I don't feel left out if I don't get any. I'm not longing for a special someone to share this holiday with. I feel content where God has placed me, and I know that He loves me.
What do you do for Valentine's Day? Do you get your family gifts? A few times our dad has gotten my mom and sisters and I flowers or balloons, which is fun. I'm having a good day, and I hope you are too!

I really loved 2012. There were so many good things in it. It was a friend. The Lord blessed me so, so much during the year. I think that's a reason to celebrate. So let's hear it for 2013! May the Lord bless you and your families this year! Whoo hoo!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Yes, I know I'm three days late. But we should always be thankful, right? Every day should be Thanksgiving. Thankfulness to God for the country we live in. Thankfulness for friends and family. Thankfulness for plenty of food to eat and homes to live in. And, hey, who wouldn't want to eat turkey every day? I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving day, but even more I hope that we all keep being thankful for all of our blessings. I think we could all use a little more thankfulness.

I haven't written since practically last year!

Happy New Year, everybody! This has been a great year, and I'm looking forward to what God will teach me in the next one. I hope you will all join me as I hope (hope hope hope!) that my blog will get better and more interesting. :) And I can almost promise more photos. See ya next year!

I love this song, and I think it really explains the true meaning of Easter. Jesus, light of the world, Son of God, slain for our sins, by our hands. This is what Easter really means. This is a sad holiday, but at the same time one of the happiest! Because He is not dead today, He was not held down by death, He is risen!

Happy New Year!

2010 is here! It is rather unbelievable, but here it is! Happy New Year, everyone!!!

Okay, It didn't snow for Christmas, but hopefully it will snow later. Right now it is raining/sleeting
/icing. Not exactly snow, but close! I am praying for snow!!!!


We took down our decorations today. To tell you the truth, I was kind of sick of them. I know I will be excited next year, though.


2010! I can't believe it is already 2010. It sounds like something from the future.

Christmas Tree

Today we got our Christmas tree. It is a bit earlier
than usual for us. It is so pretty!
